I actually really got into True Blood. Have seen every episode thusfar. The show does start out kind of on the blah side but it gets better and better a the seasons go by and I'm patiently waiting fior August when they return with the next season. My only complaint about the show is that I read the books and the show follows them to a T. Needless to say I stopped readiong the books so I didn't spoil the onscreen stuff.
My favorite shows right now (and they probably have nothing to do with Dexter) are Smallville and Grey's Anatomy.
A good miniseries to check out is Harper's Island. It's psychological and you never know who will end up being the killer – trust me it's very unexpected. It is a definite MUST SEE! Become a Harpie! lol
Here is a simple analysis:
when friends and family come to Harper's Island for the wedding of Henry Dunn and Trish Wellington, a serial killer murders the guests one by one, with only a few surviving. Mainly, the story is about the wedding of Henry Dunn and Trish Wellington, which takes place in Harper's Island. One of the guests, Abby Mills, is still haunted about the murders that happened seven years before, caused by John Wakefield. Suddenly, the wedding guests are killed one by one, and everybody is a suspect. The guests manage to unlock secrets of the island and of Wakefield as the series progresses.
Just DONT LOOK ON WIKIPEDIA OR ANYWHERE ELSE TO LEARN ABOUT THE SHOW UNTIL YOU WATCH THE WHOLE 13 EPISODE SERIES!!!! You'll find that there are many spoilers out there on Harper's Island.
