Print this Post 1 Friday Night Lights DVDThe show’s greatest strength has always lied in its characters, starting with Coach Eric Taylor (Kyle Chandler) and his wife Tami (Connie Britton).  And as the roster of players in this show goes on ,it’s worth mentioning how no one comes across as insignificant or underwritten.  Nip Tuck DVDBut what makes the thing so damn complicated is the fact that there's real drama here, as well. The recipe is not entirely without substance  Scrubs DVD   Scrubs is a character-driven show that's exceptionally well-written, and the acting is superb. John C. McGinley is fantastic in the role of Dr. Cox, a performance almost as memorable as his portrayal of consultant Bob Slydell in Office Space.  NCIS DVD is an medium which cannibilizes its own successes, where one hit show inspires more variations on the same formula every pilot season.  Bones DVD Bones, a cleverly sharp crime investigation show from the producers of Joan of Arcadia and Judging Amy, recently made its premiere on DVD in a set containing all 22 episodes from the first season of the show as well as a handful of extras.
