With his relationship with Rita back on track, Doakes permanently out of the way and his restored satisfaction in his brand of justice, Dexter’s life is almost bliss. Yet he begins to wonder if Harry’s code, the rules that helped him survive all these years, is still relevant. Debra is asked to provide an internal affairs information on her new partner, Quinn. A new target, dope dealer and killler – Fred Bowman aka “Freebo” becomes more of a challenge than Dexter expected, a challenge not only to his skills, but to his very livlihood. Assistant District Attorney Miguel Prado takes a special interest in Dexter regarding the dealth of his brother.
