Taking lead from Lila to be pro-active, Dexter anonymously releases a 32 page manifesto to a local newspaper to create confusion in the investigation. Sgt Doakes has Dexter in his sights again after Debra tells him that he’s never been a junkie, Doakes confronts Dexter, who realises that simply avoiding Doakes is no longer an option. Meanwhile Rita finally snaps with her overbearing and controlling mother. Debra’s admiration for Agent Lundy escalates into flirtation.
