Following advice from Lila, Dexter delves into his past only to discover that one of the men that brutally killed his mother in the shipping container is still alive. Insisting upon tagging along for the ride, Lila travels with Dexter to confront this mother’s murderer but must resist his own killer instincts when the two men face each other. The Bay Harbour Butcher case continues to close in whey they narrow down to 1 of 3 marina’s where they believe the killer’s boat is kept. When Rita hears that her mother asked Dexter to leave, she explodes and tells Gail that she is the one who should leave.
